📝About Me

My name is Fan Yang, a bachelor student in the School of Automation and Intelligent Sensing at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where I am fortunate to be advised by Associate Professor Shangding Gu. My research interests focus on the intersection of Agentic Robotics, Multi-Robot Systems, and reinforcement learning.

🤖 Research Interests

My research interests broadly lie in the intersection of Agentic Robotics, Multi-Robot Systems and reinforcement learning, aiming to build reliable systems of scalable autonomous robots that can perceive, reason, communicate, plan, and act collaboratively in complex environments.

  • Agentic Robotics: Developing autonomous robotic agents with capabilities in perception, reasoning, planning, and adaptive decision-making for long-horizon tasks.
  • Multi-Robot Systems: Enabling scalable and robust coordination, communication, and collaborative decision-making among teams of autonomous robots.
  • Reinforcement Learning: Learning decision-making and coordination policies that improve the adaptability, robustness, and autonomy of robotic systems.

My long-term aspiration is to build a fully autonomous team of intelligent soccer robots, where each robot can achieve sophisticated team-level collaboration through decentralized decision-making and execution.
